VibeUp is an event platform designed to help users create and share unforgettable moments with their loved ones while streamlining event management for hosts. It provides intuitive tools for tracking events, managing bookings, analysing the effectiveness of promotional activities, and gaining valuable customer insights.
Event searcher: All users want to share moments with friends and family. They never find events for single participation. They need to be able to exchange information, especially on WhatsApp. This is essential for sharing and discussing events and making decisions. Most of them rely on comments and ratings to access the credibility of an event. Only 23% search for work-related events and participation of their connections is crucial.
Gift searcher: People who search and give an event as a gift tend to jump straight into categories because they already have ideas for the gift, rather than exploring. Location is the most important factor, followed by price.
Event host: It is clear that the majority of complaints are about competitor drop-offs due to vague or excessive subscription plans and a lack of support from the help/guidance channel when necessary. It is obvious that promotion and tracking event activities are key factors in choosing a platform. 70% use LinkedIn as a promotional channel by sharing events on this.

Task 3 - Cancel a reservation: A few days after booking, you realize you can no longer attend the event. What actions would you take to cancel your reservation?
User feedback: Oh, I thought my ticket could be found in 'My events' but seems it's not? Oh maybe here? (Bookings)?
Solution: Rename the section to ensure users can easily find their tickets.
User feedback: Cancel option introduced right after user confirm booking. - 'So I can cancel right now?'
Solution: To prevent early cancellations from negatively impacting event sales, the cancellation option is initially hidden. However, users can still find it later in the 'My tickets' section.
The analysis of competitors highlighted color schemes and trends, with many event platforms using vibrant, warm colors to create a playful atmosphere. Lime was chosen as the primary color to stand out in this space.
